The galleries are provided to the members
of Wooden Boat World to allow them an opportunity
to share photos of their boat and
the modifications and enhancements made to
them.
We
have to control what is being uploaded for
several reasons, including legal issues, privacy
issues, bandwidth costs, and disk space limitations.
Thank you for your support of Wooden Boat World galleries
by following the rules below. Please also
keep in mind that this is a family site. Many
visitors are children, and many visitors are
viewing these pages from their place of work.
The
galleries and the photos within are property
of Wooden Boat World. You are invited to submit photos
that meet the following rules. Failure to
follow these rules will result in immediate
removal of your photos, and possibly your
gallery.

Wooden Boat World staff makes the final decision
in matters of photo content, clarity,
appropriateness and taste. We reserve
the right to remove any and all pictures
at our discretion.

By accessing this site, you agree to the
Member Conduct (section
5) of our Terms of Service.
We suggest you review what it says before
uploading anything to your gallery.

Photos must be of boats that you currently
own or have owned in the past, including
modifications performed to them.

Twelve (12) unrelated or personal photos
(per gallery) are allowed only in your
Unrelated photo album. The 12 can include,
but are not limited to, additional photos
of yourself, friends, models/girls with
your boats, family members,
pets, for sale items, photos of boat which you do not own, sights, and
toys (bikes, quads, etc.). With all pictures
loaded, Wooden Boat World retains the right to
remove any pictures we feel violate any
of the other given rules. If more than
12 images are loaded, we will remove enough
pictures to bring the gallery back within
limits.

Chapter event photos must be consolidated
in the respective chapter gallery instead
of personal galleries. Please submit your
photos of local events to your chapter
President or upload them to your Chapter's
shared photo gallery.

Chapter event albums may contain unrelated
photos, given that the photos are taken
at an official chapter event or rally.

Photos altered via graphics programs are
allowed, when demonstrating a suspension
change, a change of wheels, cropping,
changing the contrast or otherwise improving
the overall quality of the photo. Altering
photos for artistic purposes such as,
but not limited to, changing the background,
adding gallery names/Wooden Boat World handles,
or applying special effects is not permitted.

Nighttime photos must be clear enough
to show detail of the boats
being photographed. Photos of lights (including,
but not limited to headlights, taillights,
marker lights, and lighted washer nozzles)
wherein all that appears is a field of
light in a black background are not permitted.

Nudity is not allowed, even censored nudity.

Photos from other websites, marketing
material, including product shots, or
otherwise copyrighted material, are not
allowed.
The
Wooden Boat World Gallery Rules are subject to change
at any time without prior notice. By agreeing
to these rules you acknowledge that you have
read and understand these rules as presented
to you, and that you affirm that you will
adhere to the Wooden Boat World Gallery Rules at all
times. |
